About Us

Established in 2008, Reinbow Riding Center is a therapeutic riding facility located in Belmont, Vermont. Our PATH (Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship) certified instructors, along with the assistance of many volunteers, provide therapeutic horseback riding lessons for children and adults with cognitive, physical and behavioral challenges. Therapeutic riding provides many benefits for these individuals such as,

            -
Improved balance, coordination and muscle tone.                 -Improved self esteem and motivation to learn.
-Improved social and communication skills.                            -Improved ability to focus on sequential tasks.

At Reinbow Riding Center we tailor our programs to each student’s needs. The calming warmth experienced in the presence of horses and ponies often opens the door to beneficial communication between students and their equine partners and in turn instructors and volunteers.

The Reinbow Riding Center is supported by the United Way
