Meet Our Herd
Horses are the center of our work here at Reinbow Riding Center. They are our most valued partners and they are loved and cared for as such!
Alley Cat
Alley Cat joined the Reinbow team in 2024 and has been a beloved equine partner every year since! It is hard not to love her sweet personality and beautiful blonde coat. Alley has spent 20 of her 29 years with her human, Samantha (who also happens to be the President of Reinbow's Board).
Favorite thing: Being pampered like the beautiful Princess she is.
Favorite Treat: Apples! Alley can sniff out the nearest apple tree and will eat every one in her reach.
Previous occupation: 4-H, trail riding and the occasional gymkhana. She loved to barrel race!
Billy
This is Billy's first year with Reinbow and also came with his mom, Julia. Billy is a 5-year-old all-around great guy and has the personality and demeanor of a very large, stripey Labrador Retriever. If he sees something he likes, he grabs it with his mouth and carries it around. He loves to make the clients laugh with his antics!
Favorite thing: Snuggling and being brushed
Favorite treat: Anything we allow him to eat
Current Occupation: Show horse, trail riding, and doing lead line activities with his tiny human. Billy will also be going to college in the off season!
Cutie
Cutie is one of the well-loved returning members of our Reinbow family. Recognized pretty much everywhere, she has been in the program for years and is owned by our current Secretary, Janet. She is a sweet and sassy red mare who loves to remind everyone who she is and that she is the queen of the farm!
Favorite thing: All attention by little kids!
Favorite treat: All the horse cookies she can get!
Previous Occupation: 4H, showing, jumping, gaming, trail riding- some of everything!
Gus
This is Gus's first year with Reinbow but he is no stranger to working with kids! He has been with Julia, our Program Coordinator and Instructor since 2004. Now 25 years old, he is a tall, stately gentleman who loves to be in the middle of all activity and feel like he is still in his hay day.
Favorite thing: Being brushed and fawned over.
Favorite Treat: Peppermints! If he hears the plastic wrapper, he comes running!
Previous occupation: 4-H, trail riding, showing, ponying colts, and carrying Julia to the title of Miss Buckskin World!

Please consider sponsoring a horse this season! All donors will receive a special thank you card with a picture of their horse.
Donors who contribute $150 or more will receive a handcrafted keychain made of their favorite horse's mane and tail. The top sponsors of each horse will receive an extra special gift from their horses at the end of the season as a token of their (and our) gratitude.
*Your gift to any of the sponsorship opportunities (Sponsor a Horse, Sponsor a Rider, or Special Projects) is greatly needed and appreciated. If the campaign goal is met, or the project changes, your contribution will be used to support similar, high-impact programming. You will still receive the same sponsorship benefits and special thank you gift for the campaign you donated to.
