Volunteering

Our volunteers are the heart of our program! Without these dedicated volunteers Reinbow Riding would be unable to achieve its mission. The partnerships these individuals forge with our participants and the horses, allow the most amazing things to happen. We hope this inspires people to become involved in the program.

As they say it takes a village, and here at Reinbow Riding we see our work as enriching our community and that requires community support! If you need community service hours for your school or program, please don’t hesitate to ask

Volunteers assist us in our mission by:

• Assisting riders with grooming and tacking up horses
• Leading horses in lessons or walking alongside participants in the ring and on the nature trails
• Lending moral support, ensuring safety and helping participants achieve their goals
• Interacting with participants through encouraging conversation and assisting them with specific instructions from our instructors

No horse experience is needed. Anyone can be a volunteer. Our volunteers come from many walks of life and share their wisdom and life experiences and you can learn about horses.

For those not wishing to interact with horses, other volunteer opportunities are also available for Facility Maintenance (mowing, clearing, building) and Administrative Support (Grants, Events, Public Relations). We welcome all who wish to make a difference within our community!
